"An amazing facility!"

SPARK is an amazing facility! My son has been going here for about 3.5 years now and I am so blessed to have found them. Finding a daycare for a special needs child is hard. I toured a few other facilities and they were horrible looking but then I found Spark! It is clean, spacious, and eye apealling ! I don't think there has ever been a staff member i haven't loved! They care for these kids like they are their own! It's very evident these women love what they do! Very thorough with the kids and always loving them! Melissa is amazing and has always done such a good job with the kids and facility! The new DON Cat is also amazing and super sweet! We love the therapy staff as well my son has made leaps and bounds with them! Michelle, Amber , Pam and Jade are so good with the kids . They have special holiday parties for the kids, last year they even had a real santa come and give all the kids presents it brought me to tears! They go above and beyond for these babies! I 10/10 recommend this facility! Thank you ladies at spark we love you!

"An amazing experience"

My son attended this PPEC for a little over a year and we had nothing less than an amazing experience. The nurses and staff show so much love towards the kids. My son loved each and every one of the staff and looked forward to seeing them every single day. The therapists were also amazing with him. I definitely felt extremely safe and comfortable leaving my son here during the day while I was at work!

"I can go to leave to work in peace"

When I found out about this place I quickly signed my daughter in. Love they way they treat her. The Director Elia is a sweetheart, very loving and understanding. As well one of the employee Luis in which she's calls him dad. We are really happy she's there. I can go to leave to work in peace knowing she's taken well care.

Q&A

Clear communication at every step

What is a PPEC?

Known as a PPEC, PPECC, or by other acronyms in different states, the definition of a PPEC is a medical daycare center staffed by nurses and aides who care for children with complex medical needs — up to 12 hours per day, and up to age 21. It’s a safe place for children to receive the medical care and therapy they need, while benefiting from a social environment.

Will my child qualify?

Our centers treat children with a wide variety of conditions that require skilled nursing care. We care for children from birth (including premature babies) up until age 21. If your child requires daily medical care, they may qualify. Give us a call and we can discuss whether Spark is the right fit for your family.

Who pays for this care?

PPEC services are completely covered by Medicaid, Medicaid-managed plans, and some insurance providers — at no cost to families. We work with the family's provider, and handle all communications and paperwork directly so there is no additional burden.

What if I don't live near a center?

Spark Pediatrics coordinates transportation from door to door. A member of our team will escort the child at all times and ensure their safety. This service is provided for free.

Give your child a childhood

We'd love to meet you and your family. Set up a time to speak to someone on our team and come in for a visit.
